On August 10, 2024, the Bethlehem group gathering was filled with joyful smiles as everyone showcased their signature dishes to support the group activities. The participation of the children was also essential; they are the church's present. This month, we shared a touching testimony from Brother Nick Vujicic about his experience with tetra-amelia syndrome, which deeply moved everyone.

The brother shared his testimony of salvation with vivid language and scripture, inspiring and uplifting the congregation. Together, we partook of the Holy Communion, remembering Christ's body and precious blood given for our sins, and experiencing the hope of redemption and eternal life. We are cleansed and forgiven because of His sacrifice and shed blood, and this truly is an incredible grace.

On August 3, 2024, the Capernaum group gathered for a time of fellowship, where brothers and sisters came together in joyful unity, sharing and connecting with both old and new friends. During the meeting, we reflected on Psalm 133:1-3, which highlights the beauty of living together in harmony and the abundant provision of God. This passage beautifully illustrates the blessings and eternal life that the Lord has ordained for us.

On August 3, 2024, the Bethany Group will hold a gathering. According to Hebrews 10:25, God encourages believers not to neglect meeting together, but to encourage one another, especially as we see the Day approaching. At the same time, Matthew 4:4 reminds us that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

During the birthday celebration, the pastor led everyone in prayer for the birthday sisters and we sang the birthday song together to offer our blessings. We all prayed together, hoping for God's grace to be abundant and sufficient, guiding our paths in life, and desiring to experience joy and eternal blessings in the presence of God.

On July 27, 2024, during the Bethlehem Group's fellowship event, brothers and sisters gathered joyfully to welcome new friends into this spiritual family. The group members showcased their culinary skills, leaving everyone impressed. During the event, we completed the Inspiration Course and opened up new opportunities for the "Good News Radio Station." We look forward to how it will bring light to our future gatherings and spread the seeds of the gospel, impacting more lives.

Today is a wonderful day as our church welcomes new members. In the presence of our brothers and sisters, Pastor Fang Ling Ai baptized one adult and three children, officially receiving them into the Tauranga Chinese Methodist Church (Grace Church) as members. Chairperson Weng Xinwei took a group photo with everyone to celebrate this joyful moment. As our spiritual leader, Pastor Fang presided over the sprinkling ceremony, baptizing the sisters and children who were about to be baptized. In a solemn declaration, the pastor sought the parents' consent, and the three children were successfully baptized, warmly welcoming them into this spiritual family. A new life begins here, symbolizing that the old has passed away and everything has become new.

On July 21, 2024, the Youth Fellowship will hold a special event featuring a cake decorating activity. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own cupcakes, experiencing a great sense of fulfillment. During the event, everyone will feel that with dedication, they can become excellent bakers, drawing inspiration from Philippians 4:13 to express their confidence in strength. We are grateful for the hard work of Teacher Daisy; the smiles of the participants are the best reward for her efforts.
