From a small gathering in a borrowed hall to a spiritual family serving the Chinese community across the Bay of Plenty, TCMC's story is one of God's faithfulness, patient growth, and the quiet devotion of many hands over twenty years.
- 2006
The first Chinese Sunday gathering was held at a Baptist hall in Tauranga — a seed of the gospel quietly planted.
- 2010
A home Bible study became a steady gathering point for fellowship and spiritual growth.
- 2015
The gathering was officially recognised as a congregation and named Grace Church (TCMC), beginning a new chapter of ministry.
- 2026
With grateful hearts, TCMC marks 20 years — a testimony to God's faithful grace, still rooted and growing in Tauranga.

We give thanks to God for every pastor, every steward, every volunteer, and every family who has walked this journey with us. None of these twenty years belong to us alone — they belong to the Lord who called this church into being and sustained it through every season.

As we look to the next chapter, TCMC remains committed to discipleship, care, and mission — building up the faith of this generation and the next, and continuing to be a spiritual home for the Chinese community in the Bay of Plenty.
