August has always been designated as Mission Month by the Methodist Church. During this month, Methodists across the nation focus on the spread of the gospel and the mission of evangelism, reminding ourselves of our responsibilities and calling as Christians. Mission work is not only the task of the church but also the calling of every believer.

On the evening of August 12 at 7:30 PM, we held a Mission Night at GBC, where we were fortunate to invite Pastor Wang Baoxing to share with us the importance of the gospel and mission work. Pastor Wang's message resonated deeply with us; through her experiences and the testimonies of her colleagues, she illustrated the power and impact of evangelism. A total of 22 congregants attended the lecture that evening.

Pastor Wang emphasized that mission work is not just about conveying information; it is about bringing the love of Christ to those in need. The testimonies shared were filled with trust in God and a deep concern for the souls of people, allowing us to profoundly understand that every life is precious.

Mission Night inspired each of us to reflect on how we can participate in the work of evangelism. Whether through prayer, giving, or actively engaging in mission activities, we can all contribute our efforts to the spread of the gospel.

Let us continue to pray for the spread of the gospel during this Mission Month and actively participate in mission actions. May each of us become messengers of God's love, sharing the good news of the gospel with more people and generously sharing the blessings of the five loaves and two fish.
