During the Mission Month in August, the mission team from Jiaen Church traveled to the lakeside city of Taupo to spread the gospel. They began their day’s activities with prayer and, in small groups, distributed materials on health seminars and gospel booklets to the Chinese community, aiming to reach different groups of people. After lunch, the team hosted a health seminar at a rented church, which included worship songs and performances by children. Dr. Lu, the speaker, delivered an engaging presentation on cancer, discussing its origins and treatments in depth, while emphasizing the marvels of the human body and its self-healing abilities. At the end of the seminar, a musical performance allowed everyone to cleanse their hearts and feel the love of God. The team’s trust in the Lord and their commitment to sharing the gospel were seen as the most beautiful blessings in their lives.

During our annual Mission Month, we focus on global missions and reflect on how God's kingdom transcends borders to impact all nations. This week, we had the privilege of inviting Pastor Huang Wanli, who shared insights on how the Apostle Paul adapted his evangelistic efforts to different contexts. Through his sharing, teachings, and prayers, the hearts of our brothers and sisters were once again inspired. We believe that the gatherings during Mission Month are not only opportunities to understand the needs of the world but also significant moments for renewal and recommitment to the Lord. May the Lord use His church as a channel for spreading the gospel. We are called to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything the Lord has commanded, and His presence will be with us until the end of the age.
