The annual Mother's Day at the Methodist Church of Grace is always celebrated as Parents' Day, also known as Filial Piety Day. We honor our hardworking parents, as not everyone has a spouse or children, but as human beings, we all have parents. Our parents are not perfect; after all, they are not divine. However, they are the closest representation of God in our lives, placed here on earth to nurture us. They give us life, raise us, discipline us, and love us. When they are weak, let us remember that they are merely human. When they strive with all their might to create a world for us, let us remember that they, too, were once children, and one day we will also build strong fortresses for our own children, just as they did for us. Let us pass on the love that our Heavenly Father has given us through our parents, from generation to generation.

Before the gathering begins, the youth wait at the door, ready to surprise each parent who attends today.

Yes, that's right! These are the heartfelt love pins crafted by each of the youth and their mentors, each one uniquely made by the children themselves, in limited edition!

What you are being presented with is not just a flower pin, but also the gratitude, contentment, and abundant love that we, as we grow, sometimes find hard to express.

The children's Sunday School will perform a song for the parents—some things are indeed easier when we are young, like standing in front of an audience and singing and dancing.

Pastor Fang reminds every parent present about how to raise the next generation according to biblical teachings.

A happy family is not built on "discipline," but on "nurturing." When every parent maintains a close relationship with God, they can naturally nurture the next generation according to His will, with "reverence" as the foundation and "nurturing" as the mission, filling the home with love.

A special activity for Filial Piety Day: gifts for every father and mother. This year's gift is goat milk soap, so dads can smell wonderful too!

May each of us come empty-handed and return home filled with God's word, bringing His grace to every family member, allowing Jesus to be the head of our household. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" - Joshua 24:15.
