Reflecting on the Cross, Looking to the Savior -- A Review of the Good Friday Special Service
On Thursday evening, our church held a special Good Friday service, where the congregation gathered together in quiet reverence before the Lord, reflecting on the suffering and sacrifice that Christ endured for us. Through Scripture readings, hymns, prayers, and a brief message, we returned to the foot of Calvary, gazing upon the Savior who was crucified for the world.
As the lights dimmed, the music began to play softly, filling the air with a solemn and reverent atmosphere of worship. Together, we commemorated the darkness of that night—yet we also looked forward in hope to the dawn of resurrection.
It was a quiet yet powerful evening, reminding us not only of the depth and breadth of the Lord's love but also inspiring us to respond more authentically to His love.
